Update..22/9

Hi just a quick one as the net is pretty unreliable here.

We are in the Black Hills of South Dakota at Custer National Park. We stayed two nights at the camp ground at Interior in the BadLands and on the second night we almost go blown away. The winds were 70miles/hr. We have already had to replace our tent once due to huge winds. We had only used it 5 times and one of the poles snapped.

We have seen lots more animals running wild.
Today we went to Crazy Horse Monument. Didn't stop at Mount Rushmore as Tony is apposed to the place due to the fact that his tribe are currently in a supreme court battle of the Blackhills. We went to a place called Bear Country. They had lots of the native animals and we got to see a white buffalo (bison) and lots of bears. I didnt think much of it for the price it was just like a very small zoo. However I was able to buy myself a bear charm as I have been collecting them on the trip each time I see a new animal.

Tonight we went on the 'wildlife loop' lots of deer, buffalo, antelope, turkeys (not the ones in the car either). We were all ready to pack up and skadadle at about 3ish as some camper set fire to part of the forrest not far from where we were camped. It took about an hr to control. Lucky the wind was going the other way.

We are leaving here in the morning to head to Deadwood then onto Cody and into Yellowstone. We are supposed to be ataying at a KOA campgrpound which all have internet access... when they work...

hopefully then I can upload some new pics and give you a new update.

Miss you all
Love you more

Sounds like the bad lands were a bit wild and woolley. Too bad about Mt Rushmore. I would LOVE to see those faces in the side of the mountain.

Love the idea of collecting the animal charms. Are you putting them on a bracelet?

Cheers
