Quick comment

Hi guys
We are now in Wyoming staying at a place called Rawlins. in the past couple of ays we have gone thru the bottom of Idaho...pretty near boarder but then very dry and arid. Lots of wild animals along edges of roads. You are not allowed to stop on hwys thou so really hard to get good pics.
We are running a couple of days behind schedule and so have not made many stops. Hoping later in trip to stop and see a bit more. We are camping as often as possible to save money.
We are travelling between 200-400 miles a day with frequent stops at roadside restrooms whcih are just amazing. they are along every hwy about every 50 or so miles.
The landscape has been really diverse, from coastline to mountains full of beautiful trees to barren mountains covered in sagebush and to rocky mountains with no real vegitation and the high plains where it looks like nothing grows.
There is quite a bit of agricultural land beside the hwys and it is irrigated. This is often where you will sww wild antelope or deer.
We have seen a coule of mobs of mustangs and some buffalo but no bears yet. There are hundreds and hundreds of RVs on the road and lots of trucks.
in the last couple of days we have passed thru the bottom of Idaho and into Utah (that was interesting) their preschool kids have to be able to write their ful name, know and recognise the alphabet, count and recognise the numbers to 100 and be able to recite their full address and phone number before they can go to kinda... if they cant it is the parent responsibility to get them tutored and up to date...
Lots of mountains and irrigation in Utah too... The origon trail has been intersting. Echo pass was beautful...As I said thou hard to get really good pics of stuff when travelling at 75miles an hr...
Anyway I am going to go for tnight it is 11:30 pmhere and we are leaving at 6 tomorrow so out of bed early to pack up tents...
Oh by the way the weather has been lovely... in high 20s every day and mild at night although tonight it is supposed to drop below freezing ..so 0 over there and 32 here...

Miss you guys heaps...will try to get online again tomorrow... I am tryig to choose places that have wireless but as you can tell that doesnt always work as the last two nights they have had internet but it has been down.
BY the way thanks to Greg tonight for helping me fix my connection or you would have been waiting til we got home to hear from us.
We still havent been near a post office but I have made a point of putting it in the tour tomorrow and I will get some postcards sent.

Love u all/// hopefully in a couple of days when we dont have to travell to early I can stay u late and wait for you to be online over there...

Rosemaree, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that we really appreciate you trying to keep up with the difficulty connecting to the net. It is lovely to know what you are all up to.

I'm saving your blog offline so I can take it for Mum to see in the next couple of days. She's hanging to check it out.

Why are you a couple of days behind?

How did you find out about the Kinder prerequisite? Have you visited a school?

Glad you are having fun.....I've killed the kids, burned down the house and stolen the cars and the horse float. I let the horses and dogs run free and poisoned the dam. What other damage would you like me to do before you come home.

Love you lots. check your hotmail.

speaking of post cards, have you seen the cards that are all about how much of a dill George W Bush is ... they have his moronic quotes on them that he gives as answeres at his press conferences.

With Debs comment below now I know where all the ambulances, fire trucks, bulldozers were going out your way the other day. She sounds like she's done a fine job

Life here is good

This is Debbie Sandersfeld form Albany OR - Tony needs to call his insurance agent at 541-926-7826 (office) or 541-619-4121 (cell) - there is an issue with the insurance that needs attention as soon as possible!!

Try Starbucks or some of the other coffee shops for your internet. Also KOA campgrounds, they cost a little more, but they have WiFi. Hope you are having fun and look forward to seeing you again.

Rosemaree, sounds like you are having a great time. How far are you travelling per day ? When do you reach a final destination or is there one?
We went to Sydney and caught up with Matt it was sooooo good to see him. He is loving it having the time of his life and is now in Townsville which he says is beautiful but hot. Don't eat to many of those ice cream Sundays
Have heaps of fun
