This of course is our own cowboy and his trusted best friend Whiskey. Mal loves nothing more than to be out riding in the bush for hours at a time. Sometimes the kids and I think that he preferrs the horse to us.

- We are looking forward to our first REAL holiday in twenty or so years. We are headed for the United States and will hit 6-8 states in 41 days. While there we will be checking out future employment opportunities. Mal hopes to be able to work on a ranch and for me I'd love to be able to teach on an Indigenous American reservation. Anyway the count down has started...

I've deleted my two test posts (you hardly need a pic of Courtney and the cat on your blog) but lost Debbie's comment in the process.
I expect daily (or at the very least, every other day) posts so I can drool and be jealous on a regular basis.
